HELIO is a company listed on the Stock Exchange. The company was established in 1992 by the marriage of Justyna and Leszek Wąsowicz, who manage it and are its strategic owner to this day. Thanks to the vision, consistency and a stable ownership structure, the company carries out large projects using the method of small steps, not overburdening the financial condition, and not surprisingly with sudden changes in the implemented development strategy. A stable and transparent financial position, impeccable banking opinion as well as a permanent Polish owner are the unique advantages of HELIO for its stakeholders as a stable and reliable business partner or employer.
Market leader in dried fruits and nuts
30 years of experience in the B2C segment is a priceless competitive advantage of HELIO. The company not only knows about dried fruits, but also has developed know-how on how to pack them and sell them well to consumers. Almost PLN 300 million of annual sales in the B2C segment of nuts and dried fruits alone is the level by which HELIO distances itself from the rest of the nuts and dried fruits in the peloton. At the same time, we are constantly investing in the brand and innovative products. In 2021, the HELIO brand was valued the highest in the nuts and dried fruit industry in the ranking of the most valuable Polish brands prepared by the editors of Gazeta Finansowa and Rzeczpospolita.
Certified highest BRC quality standards
The overriding value of the company is quality at the highest level. Therefore, the HELIO plant is certified according to the international standard of quality and safety of food production BRC - Global Standard for Food Safety (BRC certificate version 8), which is considered a model for the best practices in the food industry. The highest quality consists primarily of the latest technologies, laboratory facilities, a professional team as well as steel and proven suppliers. In order to ensure the compliance of activities with national and EU food law, HELIO is additionally covered by the legal protection of the Food Law Center. The effect of taking care to maintain the highest quality of our products are numerous awards and distinctions. Quality is a priority for us, which we absolutely care about, bearing in mind the health, condition and well-being of our consumers, as well as the reputation of our distributors.

The HELIO production complex is one of the most modern and largest in the nuts and dried fruit industry in Europe. The impressive area of the plant (20 ha of usable area, over 10 ha of land), spacious warehouses integrated with the IT system, own nut roasting plant, over 20 modern production lines equipped with food production safety systems, and finally various forms of packaging ensure enormous potential for cooperation, economic efficiency of production and flexibility to adapt to the expectations and needs of HELIO recipients.

The location of the HELIO plant in the heart of Poland and Europe provides perfect conditions for optimizing transport, both in terms of importing raw materials and delivering products to HELIO recipients. Efficient logistics, on the other hand, is related to the economic efficiency and timeliness of deliveries.
